Medical Records Clerk

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Medical Records Clerk, you will help CHI St. Alexius maintain the integrity of all medical records information and patient data.

Everyday you will handle patient data information demonstrating a colloborative effort towards accurate and organized patient data.

To be successful in this role, you must be detailed oriented, task driven, colloborative and thorough.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, scan, and index documents into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)

• Process Release of Information requests accurately and according to policy

• Contribute to the overall organization of the Medical Records department

• Communicate effectively and collaborate with healthcare teams

• Utilize the EMR and scanning equipment proficiency

Job Requirements

Required

High School graduate or equivalent

Preferred

Medical office experience

Pay Range

$15 - $19.81/hour
