SUMMARY

Selling products for distributor to business and industrial establishments or individuals at customer's place of business.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Drives daily within assigned sales territory. Makes outbound lead follows‑up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e‑mail to qualify leads and sell products and services. Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales. Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers. Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained. Estimates date of delivery to customer. Coordinates customer training. Builds and maintains customers’ relationships. Prepares reports of business transactions. Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into CRM. Works with inside sales representatives to keep account activities up to date. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Associate’s Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience building business relationships. High level of motivation. Acute attention to detail. Strong organizational skills. Commitment to excellence and high standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. Valid driver license with acceptable motor vehicle record.

Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. Occasionally exposed to loud noise (examples: metal can manufacturing, large earth‑moving equipment).
