The plumber will complete assigned work orders in a professional and timely manner while ensuring compliance with building codes, safety standards, and preventive maintenance requirements.ResponsibilitiesInstall, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and componentsReview building plans and specifications to determine plumbing layoutsIdentify required tools, equipment, and materials for each projectMeasure, cut, assemble, and install pipes, fittings, and valvesInstall supports, hangers, sinks, tubs, toilets, water heaters, and appliancesInspect and test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks and functionalityPerform scheduled maintenance on plumbing systems and equipmentEnsure compliance with building codes, manufacturer requirements, and environmental standardsMaintain accurate records, including work orders, supply requests, and daily reportsFollow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment appropriatelyAssist with other maintenance or engineering tasks as assignedRequirementsMinimum 2 years of proven experience as a plumber or plumber's assistantKnowledge of plumbing systems, materials, tools, and safety practicesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specificationsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsEffective communication and interpersonal abilitiesHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to stand, crouch, kneel, and move throughout the workdayAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; able to safely work from ladders and confined spacesFlexibility to work indoors and outdoors as neededPositive, professional attitude
