$18.26-22.00/hour - Placement in the range will be determined based on experience and other factors allowed by law.

GENERAL SUMMARY

Responsible for efficient and timely machine operation including set up of all jobs including tooling, troubleshoot and performing routine maintenance.

COMPANY STANDARDS

• Maintains regular attendance and punctuality in order to perform tasks related to daily production demands. This position performs all hours onsite and at all assigned physical locations of operations.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations; wears and/or uses required protective equipment while working; immediately reports any safety concerns or unsafe working conditions to Operations management.
• Conducts all aspects of job responsibilities in compliance with the JM Murray mission statement, policies and procedures, professional standards, and applicable governmental laws, rules and regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Sets up and operates manufacturing machines and equipment including, but not limited to, automated manufacturing machines, injection mold machines, liquid fill machines, shrink wrappers, digital scales, pallet jacks, etc.
2. Troubleshoots and performs routine maintenance, as required.
3. Loads/unloads machines and makes all required adjustments.
4. Performs 1st piece inspection and qualifies set up for production.
5. Responsible for the output and quality of products produced by the machine and by others.
6. Oversees/coordinates the work of Manufacturing Team Members (MTM), as assigned.
7. Performs and documents time studies.
8. Provides back up to MTM as assigned.
9. Participates and completes all assigned training.
10. Maintains a clean and clutter free work environment.
11. When assigned, performs material handling functions in work areas including but not limited to moving raw materials to production areas, transferring finished goods as needed, etc.
12. Represents JM Murray and the JM Murray mission in a positive manner, treating people with dignity and respect.
13. Performs additional duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED

1 yr. experience with machine operation and/or a production environment preferred

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS

Basic reading and comprehension skills, and the ability to follow written instructions are required

Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Basic computer skills for data entry and utilizing reports

Ability to follow verbal instructions and return communication

WORKING CONDITIONS

Job assignments primarily may take place indoors. Assignments may take place in different locations of the production floor or in another JM Murray location.
