Non-Invasive Cardiology Clinical Faculty

The Department of Cardiology at the Smidt Heart Institute, Cedars‑Sinai Medical Center, seeks a clinician‑scientist for its Echocardiography Section. Responsibilities Perform and interpret transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography. Support clinical, academic, and research activities within the Non‑Invasive Cardiology division. Assist with interpretation of cardiac MRI and cardiac CT when pre‑requisite training and certification are present. Provide clinical care in ambulatory clinics. Engage in scholarly work, including manuscript preparation and grant writing. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA cardiology and subspecialty training in echocardiography. Board certified with the ABIM in cardiology and board certified in echocardiography. Eligible for an unrestricted California license as Physician. Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of California. Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges. Eligible for appointment to the appropriate academic rank in the CSMC. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional collaboration abilities with partners and staff. Proven knowledge and success in clinical skills. Candidates should be recognized for clinical excellence. Candidates should have experience in supporting medicine postgraduate fellowship training. The ideal candidate will have a track‑record of peer‑reviewed publications and a desire to continue academic work.
