Mobile HVAC Technician

Job Overview Mobile Engineer – responsible for operating, inspecting, and maintaining HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment in assigned facilities to achieve maximum operational efficiency and extend equipment life. Responsibilities Operate, inspect, and maintain all HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment and systems. Ensure equipment is energy efficient, safe, and downtime is minimized by anticipating necessary repairs and keeping records. Perform inspections and repairs on interior and exterior property areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing systems, and lighting. Conduct preventive maintenance and repair work orders for mechanical, electrical, and installed systems. Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC/R systems, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repairs, and production equipment. Study equipment specifications and use methods correctly for routine tasks. Perform facility inspections and due diligence, reporting conditions that impact client occupancy and operations. Submit daily P‑card receipts and update work order status in real time. Use CMMS systems such as Corrigo for all work performed. Perform call‑in work and other duties as required. Required Qualifications Universal CFC recovery certification (or completion within 90 days of employment). Minimum of 4 years of technical experience in building engineering, with a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair and maintenance. Knowledge of overall system design and applications. Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial refrigeration and/or supermarket refrigeration. High school diploma or GED required. Valid state driver’s license. Preferred Qualifications Experience utilizing CMMS (Work Order) systems. Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel. Two years of trades school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration, and HVAC. Location and Availability Mobile position covering Miami, FL and surrounding area. On‑site – Miami, FL. Standard business hours with on‑call availability. The position does not provide visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
