Accounts Receivable Representative

We are seeking experienced Insurance Follow Up Representatives for a remote opportunity with a large consulting group.



Overview of Responsibilities:

• Manage all account follow-up activities for unpaid, denied, and underpaid medical claims to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.
• Contact insurance payers directly by phone and review claim status through payer portals, documenting outcomes and next steps.
• Oversee the full appeals process, including preparing, submitting, and tracking appeals to resolve claim denials.
• Meet production standards by ramping up to handling 45-55 accounts per day with 95% accuracy.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years Hospital OR Physician Insurance Collections experience in Cerner
• Commercial & Government Payers experience
• Strong computer skills
• Excel experience
• Remote work experience
• Ability to identify denial / reimbursement trends

Length: 800 Hours (approx. 5 months) Contract Opportunity*

Pay: $20-24 per hour depending on experience



Equipment Security Deposit Program: $50 will be set aside from each paycheck for the first 10 weeks of employment, for a total of $500 security deposit. The full amount will be returned to you upon receipt of the equipment, or upon conversion to permanent employment with the client.
