Quality Inspector – Part Identification Processor Pay Rate and Hours:

• Pay: Depending on Experience
• Days: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 1st shift, 7:00am – 3:30pm

Quality Inspector – Part Identification Processor Summary:
An Aerospace Part Identification Processor plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, traceability, and compliance of aerospace. This position involves identifying, labeling, cataloging, and verifying parts according to engineering specifications, regulatory standards, and customer requirements.
This position will play a crucial role in the production process and contribute to the company’s overall performance in Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Attitude (QCDSA).

Quality Inspector – Part Identification Processor Primary Responsibilities:

• Stamp/Mark all finished parts in accordance with the customer specification & engineering requirements.  
• Set up and operate stamp machine in order to import proper part marking codes to finished parts.  
• Apply appropriate markings (e.g., laser etching, ink stamping, barcode labeling) per industry standards and customer specifications.  
• Obtain a first part verification of every job or batch of parts marked.  
• Ensure traceability and compliance with AS9100 and FAA regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on the stamp machine.
• Support a clean work environment and maintain tools and equipment.  
• Identify, when applicable, continuous process and procedure improvements to enhance the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Maintain a positive attitude and punctuality.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Quality Inspector – Part Identification Processor Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001 quality systems.  
• Knowledge and experience reading blueprint and engineering drawings.  
• Previous experience in part marking.
• Operational knowledge of automatic printing equipment is preferred.  
• Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems; knowledge of database software, MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and integration of technical data.
• Adhere to OSHA, NADCAP,  ISO9000 / AS9100, ITAR, FAA regulations and company specific safety standards.
• Internal Certifications: Deemed appropriate for this position
• Meet requirements of annual Vision Exam.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods (up to 8-12 hours per shift). Able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25-50lbs regularly, and occasionally heavier weights with assistance.
• Must be able to tolerate exposure to manufacturing environments, including moderate noise levels, vibrations, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required, Such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
