This role involves proactive communication, problem resolution, and continual coordination with drivers, planners, and internal departments to ensure service expectations are met. The ideal candidate can balance people‑focused responsibilities with high attention to detail and a strong commitment to operational integrity. Your Responsibilities Customer Service Answer incoming calls, take messages, and route communications appropriately. Relationship Building Maintain strong, professional relationships with drivers to support load success. Review Orders Review all work orders prior to pickup or delivery to ensure accuracy. Vehicle Updates Maintain accurate lists of available vehicles and locations using the AS400 system. Vehicle Assignment Assign vehicles based on trip length, freight requirements, and driver preferences. Record Maintenance Record departure times, destinations, cargo, and estimated arrival times. Data Integrity Maintain accurate load and driver data throughout the freight life cycle. Issue Escalation Communicate potential service concerns to planners, coordinators, and customer service. PTO Approval Approve PTO requests for assigned drivers. Your Skillset Team Player Collaborate effectively across various departments to support operational needs. Organization Skills Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Communication Skills Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication with active listening. Microsoft Office Use Microsoft Office Suite proficiently, including Excel. Analytical Skills Analyze data and solve problems with sound judgment. Fast-Paced Environment Perform well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. Minimum Qualifications A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. An equivalent combination may be considered. Time Management Manage competing deadlines effectively in a dynamic environment. Communication Skills Communicate professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Analytical Skills Solve complex problems using sound judgment. Preferred Qualifications Operations Experience Up to three (3) years of transportation operations or dispatch experience. Conflict Management Experience managing conflict in roles where communication drives outcomes. Salary and Schedule Salary Pay will be decided based on experience. Schedule This position is located in Fort Worth, TX and is on‑site. Workdays and workhours will follow standard operational scheduling.
