Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring 2 years of experience and compact or OK RN licensure.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
• Care for patients requiring telemetry monitoring, pacemakers, IV insulin protocols, and continuous bladder irrigation (CBI)
• Patient ratio of 1:4-6
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7p-7a
• Uses Epic charting system
• Floating required to other units and sister facilities within a 75-mile radius as needed
• Block scheduling is not accommodated

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact or OK State) required, pending licenses not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and EKG/Telemetry course completion
• Experience with pacemakers, IV insulin protocols, and continuous bladder irrigation (CBI) required
• Epic charting experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Valid driver's license or state-issued ID required
• Utility bill in candidate's name matching current address within the last 3 months required
• Two supervisory references required
• Candidate's permanent address must be greater than 75 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care for Med/Surg Telemetry patients including cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
• Prior charge nurse experience preferred
• No more than 5 days of RTO accepted per 13-week assignment, with no holiday RTO permitted
• Local candidates within 75 miles are not eligible for this position
• Former INTEGRIS employees must have at least 1 year of separation from the facility to be eligible for a travel assignment
• Any gaps of 3 months or more in work history must be explained
