Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $1660 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:
You must have compact license or MD license.
May screen strong MS RN candidates with 1.5 to < 2 years MS experience, who acquire that 1.5+ years in a steady flow (not a cumulative total across different jobs).
Must have ortho experience (peripheral nerve block catheters, total joint replacement, surgical drains).
Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment.

Unit Details:
Adult patient population includes joint replacements, spinal surgery, orthopedic trauma, hand trauma, and fractures.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every 3rd weekend.

Floating Requirements:
Floating is required to Ortho - MedSurg.
