Cardiology physician employment in New York :
An integrated health system is seeking a Heart Failure Cardiologist to join its cardiac care team on Long Island, New York. This role focuses on advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support across a network of hospitals and affiliated care sites.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Setting: In-person
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care for patients with advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology needs
- Manage a broad spectrum of heart failure cases across hospital and affiliated settings
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and LVAD coordinators on patient care plans
- Support the use of mechanical circulatory support and advanced cardiac therapies
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary heart failure program serving the surrounding region
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology
Desired Skills:
- Experience with ECMO
- Experience with short-term mechanical support strategies
- Experience with CardioMEMS
- Experience with pulmonary hypertension care
Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
