Position Overview

The primary objective of this role is to conduct a range of imaging procedures, including CT scans and X-rays, at a technical level that does not necessitate constant oversight.

Essential Job Functions

• Deliver technical support and compassionate patient care to assist physicians, nurses, and other staff in addressing the needs of patients throughout the facility.
• Operate and maintain all imaging department equipment, including X-Ray, CT, CR readers, and PACS.
• Conduct imaging exams in compliance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws, ensuring that the attending physician is informed of the results.
• Execute basic clinical procedures under the guidance of the physician or nurse on duty.
• Keep accurate documentation, logs, charts, forms, and records in both paper and electronic formats.
• Ensure an adequate supply of reagents and consumables for quality testing.
• Perform routine maintenance and function checks on all imaging equipment according to established protocols.
• Retain records of all analytical activities for a minimum of two years.

Additional Job Functions

• Assist as an ER Technician when necessary.
• Travel to various facility locations as required.
• Participate in staff meetings or other company-sponsored meetings as needed.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved Radiology Technology program is required.
• Associate's degree in Radiology is preferred.
• Certification as a medical radiologic technologist as mandated by the state of practice is required.
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography is required.
• ARRT registration in computed tomography is preferred, with specific exceptions:
• CT certification is required for the Las Vegas market.
• CT certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire for the Pennsylvania market.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Preferred experience includes 2+ years in radiologic/imaging roles, 1+ year in CT, and 1+ year in emergency room settings.
• Proficiency with various X-ray/CT equipment, including manufacturer hardware/software and PACS.
• Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills, is required.

• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000 available.
• Shift: Mid/Swing Shift (7 AM - 7 PM, 9 AM - 9 PM) with floating between locations.
