Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT credentials required)
• Current registration as a Respiratory Therapist
• Previous experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred
• Strong patient assessment, critical thinking, and ventilator management skills
• Proficient in airway management, blood gas analysis, and therapeutic modalities
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively across interdisciplinary teams
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer all forms of respiratory therapy, including oxygen delivery, aerosol therapy, and chest physiotherapy
• Provide ventilator management and monitor patient responses to therapy
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling and interpret results to guide therapy adjustments
• Respond to emergency situations, assisting in resuscitation efforts and rapid response calls
• Educate patients and family members on respiratory care and use of related equipment
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and document all interventions
• Ensure adherence to infection control policies and safety protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to develop and evaluate treatment plans

$1,895 - $2,074/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
