Shipping & Receiving Coordinator I Job Location: US-RI-West Greenwich Requisition ID: 2026-21241 Number of Openings: 1 Category: Administrative/Clerical Position Type: Regular Full-Time Fixed Salary: USD $59,446.00 per year Overview Under general supervision, the Coordinator is responsible for picking, packing and shipping all inbound and outbound shipments and associated duties. The incumbent prepares bills of lading, assists in loading trucks, obtains signatures on shipments, and counts and records material to ensure accuracy. Performs related duties as required. Responsibilities Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability Receive and unpack materials and supplies Report damages and discrepancies and request reimbursement or re-shipment Maintain logs of all outgoing and incoming shipments Prepare monthly production and volume reports to measure productivity and prepare billing charges Unpack and examine incoming shipments; reject damaged items; record shortages and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas Fill requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute accordingly Post weights and shipping charges and affix postage Mark materials with identifying information Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Entry level Excellent customer service, professional attitude and appearance are a must Ability to work overtime & meet deadlines Physical Demands Physical activity required including bending, reaching, lifting and prolonged periods of sitting or standing May lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
