You will work on a variety of projects rather than doing the exact same repetitive weld all day long.Perform high-quality TIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel.Perform MIG welding on aluminum, stainless, and mild steel as needed.Read and interpret basic blueprints to lay out and assemble parts.Handle general fabrication tasks including grinding, deburring, and operating a laser cutter.Use a tape measure accurately to ensure parts meet specifications.What We Are Looking For:If you have a strong work ethic and a passion for your craft, we want to see your resume!Experience: At least 6 months of professional, on-the-job welding experience.Welding Skills: Hands-on experience with both TIG and MIG welding (especially on aluminum and stainless steel).Technical Skills: Ability to read basic blueprints and use a tape measure accurately.Bonus Points: Completion of a welding school program, or prior experience operating a laser cutter is a huge plus!Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Schiller Park, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
