About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative to help us grow its restaurant client base.

This is a field-based sales position in Sparks and Reno, NV. You will identify potential restaurant clients, introduce them to our company, build relationships with owners, chefs and decision-makers, and help turn qualified prospects into consulting clients.

The ideal candidate is comfortable approaching businesses, starting conversations with owners, chefs and/or managers, following up consistently, and working independently. You do not need to be a restaurant consultant yourself; we will provide you with the knowledge and materials needed to effectively represent our services. You will be able to explain new accounts will be assigned a restaurant consultant.

What You'll Do

- Identify restaurants and restaurant groups that may benefit from consulting services

- Prospect for new clients through in-person visits, phone calls, email, networking, events and other outreach

- Visit restaurants and introduce the brand to owners, operators, and managers

- Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients

- Learn about a restaurant's challenges and identify potential opportunities for our services to help

- Clearly communicate our services and the value we provide

- Schedule qualified prospects for consultations or meetings with the consulting team

- Follow up with leads and prospects throughout the sales process

- Maintain organized records of leads, conversations, follow-ups, and opportunities

- Meet agreed-upon weekly/monthly prospecting and sales goals

- Develop your own efficient route, schedule, and approach to prospecting

- Represent the brand professionally when interacting with business owners and restaurant staff

What We're Looking For

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Comfortable speaking with business owners and decision-makers

- Confident approaching people in person

- Self-motivated and able to work independently

- Organized and reliable with follow-through

- Comfortable with rejection and persistent without being pushy

- Professional, passionate and personable

- Sales, hospitality, restaurant, business development, or customer-service experience is a plus, but not required

- Must have reliable transportation for local business visits

- Must be comfortable using email, Google Workspace, and basic digital tools (Phone + Laptop/Desktop)
