Service Now Integration Lead

Description:
This position serves as the overall Service Now Integration Lead to support a variety of Snow implementation activities. It is the overall architect, and team lead for all Service Now efforts.
• Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Office of the Deputy Chief Information Officer (ODCIO) Knowledge Management Team in Mission Support.
• Leverage previous deployment experience to design (Architect, document etc) solutions through the use of models, presentation and other documents.
• Identify opportunities to leverage existing modules / functionality within Service Now.
• Facilitate data gathering and creation of programmatic weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to leadership, and lead the response to data calls from leadership.
• Assist with the development of data/information control standards and handling processes.
• Develop project plans for new work activities and manage work to the plan.
• Provide project management support to key ODCIO KM efforts in support of the ODCIO KM Lead.
• Provide support for team management as required by managing Service Now team, assigning tasks etc.
• Provide guidance, insight, and strategic direction to Service Now implementation and development work as an experienced facilitator and liaison between the customer and the technical team.
• Support the full lifecycle development process (requirements gathering, testing, training, documentation) and track progress through to completion.
• Guide user experience (UX) and design best practices.
• Mature the Knowledge Management-related training and user feedback initiatives.
• Coordinate across stakeholders with divergent needs and drive strategies and standards in a timely fashion.



Minimum qualifications:
• 5+ years of professional work experience
• Works independently designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing software for a healthcare/clinical environment.
• Acts as highest level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, healthcare semantics, informatics and multiple platforms.
• Responsible for project completion.
• Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare IT, computer science, electronics engineering, engineering or technical related field, or an additional 10 years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements

• Experience implementing Electronic Health Records
