About the Role The Appointment Setter serves as the critical first point of contact for incoming mortgage leads. This is not a direct sales position, you will not be selling loan products. Instead, your primary focus is speed-to-lead: connecting with prospective homebuyers within minutes, assessing basic interest, dispatching key information links, and scheduling appointments directly onto a licensed Loan Officer's calendar. You will maintain daily contact with an existing pipeline of leads via phone and text until they convert or opt out. Key Responsibilities Rapid Response: Call new mortgage leads within five minutes of arrival to confirm basic interest and needs (handling ~10 new leads per day). Appointment Setting: Efficiently book qualified borrowers directly onto the Loan Officers' calendars and send introductory tools (rate tools and application links). Pipeline Management: Maintain consistent daily outreach via phone and text across a pipeline of 200-300 open leads until conversion or opt-out. Process & Script Adherence: Follow designated communication scripts strictly, professionally handling caller inquiries without stepping outside regulatory/procedural boundaries. CRM Discipline: Log every call, text, detail, and outcome with 100% accuracy in the GoHighLevel CRM platform. Qualifications & Skills Must-Haves (Non-Negotiable): Fluent Conversational English: Exceptional verbal English skills tailored for US consumers. Accents are fully welcomed, but speech must be clear, natural, and confident without hesitation or misunderstanding when navigating stressed or impatient callers. US Customer Phone Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in phone-based, direct-to-consumer roles targeting US customers (e.g., appointment setting, inbound sales, customer service, or collections). Script Discipline: Proven ability to follow defined scripts and remain composed when callers push for additional information. CRM Rigor: Exceptional attention to detail in tracking interactions. Any CRM background is accepted, provided you maintain rigorous logging habits. Reliable Home Office Setup: Dedicated quiet workspace, high-speed stable internet, a quality headset, and full reliability to work US Central business hours. Nice-to-Haves (Preferences): Prior experience in mortgage, real estate, insurance, or general lending environments. Direct experience using GoHighLevel CRM.
