They also rotate product and maintain proper food safety standards. After moving incoming merchandise out to the sales floor, they ensure Fresh displays are maintained and in proper order throughout the day. In the bakery, help customers celebrate special moments by preparing and decorating cakes. Work in the dry grocery department to ensure customers find the items they are looking for. Perform detailed cleaning of shelves and the department, check and maintain temperature control, verify dates, and dispose of lesser quality food products. Ensure high‑quality products are available in produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments. Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays.
