Associate Attorney

Duties Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis to support case preparation and strategy development Draft and review litigation related documents Assist in negotiating settlements and contractual agreements to achieve favorable outcomes for clients Manage litigation cases from inception through resolution by coordinating discovery, depositions, and court filings Provide counsel on various legal issues Support attorneys in court appearances, hearings, and client meetings by preparing necessary documentation and briefs Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with all legal administrative procedures Experience Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in Tennessee Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and other platforms to gather pertinent legal information efficiently Excellent writing skills demonstrated through clear legal drafting of memos, briefs, and contracts Familiarity with litigation processes and legal administrative experience is highly desirable Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining professionalism and client advocacy skills Federal court experience preferred but not a requirement Prior experience in litigation is preferred but not required We offer a competitive salary, benefits package and accommodating work environment.
