Make an impact supporting students in a dynamic educational environment as a contract physical therapist serving middle and high school students. This part-time, onsite position is perfect for professionals seeking a focused schedule of just one day per week (7.5 hours) through May 25, 2027. You’ll work in a collaborative setting where your expertise is valued and your professional growth encouraged.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Experience or strong interest in serving school-aged children, particularly middle and high school populations
- Knowledge of school-based physical therapy practices is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the desire to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Enthusiasm for participating in professional development and ongoing learning
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver therapeutic interventions onsite to students ages 11–18
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and fellow therapists to create and implement individualized plans
- Participate in monthly meetings and roundtable discussions to foster teamwork and best practices
- Utilize available equipment and testing materials to support your evaluations and interventions
- Benefit from mentorship through a “Buddy Program” specially designed for new hires
- Engage in process improvement activities to enhance service delivery
- Attend scheduled check-ins and meetings with your leadership team to receive supportive guidance and feedback
- Access online resources and a vibrant professional community via an internal social platform
