Unarmed Security Officer – Part‑Time Weekend Position Pay: $19.00 per hour. This is a part‑time position. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Must be available for 12‑hour shifts on the weekends. Availability must be submitted 30 days in advance. Location: Toyota Motors North America PDC – 11111 N Airworld Dr, Kansas City, MO 64153. Earn a $100 Quarterly Perfect Attendance Bonus for officers who are available and present for every shift they commit to during the quarter. What You’ll Do Vehicle/foot patrols – deter theft, vandalism, and suspicious activity. Gatehouse – access control; greet and ID residents/guests, log vehicles, announce visitors. Front Desk – customer service, access control, CCTV monitoring, package distribution, visitor announcements. What This Role Is Professional, high‑accountability environment. Responsibilities Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests promptly and courteously. Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when deemed necessary. Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles. Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival. Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures. Monitor and detect suspicious behavior to prevent vandalism, theft, or other criminal behavior. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms. Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks. Warn violators of infractions (e.g., loitering, smoking, or possession of prohibited items). Respond to calls of distress, alarms, or emergencies such as fire, injuries, or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders. Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner. Ensure accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents). Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed. Other duties as determined by management. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. High school degree or equivalent. Professional demeanor and appearance. Basic computer skills. Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks. Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Minimum of one year of customer service experience OR one year of security experience. Must be able to pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug).
