Job Responsibilities Provide primary clinical support to the provider, patients and their families to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient’s condition. Follow up on diagnostic testing to ensure completion, accuracy, and filing in the medical record to ensure continuity and quality of care. Promote a clean environment and maintain it during patient care. Assist in obtaining and documenting patient medical history, chief complaint, vital signs, and provide basic medical data for the provider, and prepare patients for examinations. Perform selected nursing acts in the care of the ill, injured or infirm under the direction of a licensed professional, physician or dentist that do not require specialized skill, judgment or knowledge required in professional nursing. Assist providers in the performance of minor surgical therapeutic and/or diagnostic procedures and ancillary diagnostic examinations as directed to facilitate accurate diagnosis. Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and complete associated paperwork to expedite laboratory studies accurately and efficiently. Execute and document ongoing patient communication, respond to patient questions and requests to ensure timely response to patients’ needs. Administer medications and vaccines, including topical medications, intradermal and skin testing, as ordered by the provider and per scope of practice. Perform focused observations of skin and wounds (e.g., measure length/width/depth, note drainage/odor/peri‑wound condition) and document findings in the electronic medical record; report wound changes to the RN/APP/Physician. Clean wounds and apply dressings using sterile/aseptic technique per written order or clinic protocols. Reinforce patient education; escalated questions or concerns to RN, APP, or Physician as appropriate. Clean and set up examination and treatment rooms between cases, ensuring required levels of asepsis, availability of appropriate instruments and equipment, and preparation of the patient. Position Details Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. The LPN is accountable for satisfying all job‑specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures. Education & Experience Graduate from Specialty Training Program‑Nursing (Required). Minimum of 1 year in nursing (Preferred). Certifications & Licenses Basic Life Support Certification – Default Issuing Body. Licensed Practical Nurse – Default Issuing Body.
