Benefits SpecialistWorking as Full-time Benefits Specialist in our Human Resources department, you will perform entry level duties assisting with US and International employee benefits with a specific focus on leave of absence administration. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Administering employee requests for family, medical and military leaves of absence by phone and emailProviding guidance to employees regarding company policies and proceduresAssisting employees with questions and completion of formsPreparing employee communication piecesEnsuring compliance with Federal, State and Local guidelinesThe following skills and qualifications are required for this position:18 years of age or olderExcellent written and oral communication skillsProficient using Microsoft Office SuiteHighly motivated, self directed and customer service orientedDemonstrate strong organization, time management, planning and prioritizing abilitiesExhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skillsLearn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environmentWork independently as well as in a team environmentDemonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamworkPass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
