Real Estate Associate - Morristown, NJ

Fox Rothschild has an opening for a Real Estate Associate in the Morristown, NJ office. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of general real estate law experience.A strong academic record and strong writing skills are required. We are not currently accepting resumes from search firms for this position. Qualifications Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Experience in general real estate practice required. Experience with leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, and joint venture agreements are preferred. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fastpaced environment. Demonstrated initiative, eagerness to learn, and a longterm interest in contributing to the growth of the practice. Work Environment & Physical Demands This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers. Physical Requirements Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this position applies to New Jersey. The salary range reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $210,000 - 235,000.
