Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to support aircraft electrical design, testing, certification, and substantiation activities. The ideal candidate will have experience with aerospace engineering processes, aircraft certification, and electrical design tools such as AutoCAD or DraftSight.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop electrical test plans, checklists, inspection plans, and test reports.
• Prepare substantiation reports and certification documentation related to aircraft cabin safety.
• Support certification and engineering projects involving electrical requirements and supplier deliverables.
• Coordinate technical responses to engineering inquiries, significant issues, and airworthiness concerns.
• Identify major design changes that may impact aircraft electrical systems.
• Support certification and regulatory compliance activities.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues during flight testing, laboratory testing, and equipment/jig testing.
• Prepare technical presentations and project documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support design and certification activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 4 7 years of engineering experience; relevant internships or co-op experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of aircraft engineering processes and substantiation techniques.
• Familiarity with aircraft design processes, aerospace materials, fabrication methods, and hardware.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of aircraft interiors
