Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid- to senior-level associate attorney to join its Trusts & Estates / Probate Litigation practice in East Brunswick, New Jersey. The role involves substantial responsibility for sophisticated matters involving estates, trusts, fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and related disputes. The position is litigation-focused with opportunities for estate and trust administration, estate planning, and client counseling. Duties Handle will contests and probate disputes. Manage trust and estate litigation. Address fiduciary-duty and beneficiary disputes. Conduct contested accountings and fiduciary proceedings. Participate in guardianship proceedings. Engage in general equity and Chancery matters. Oversee estate and trust administration. Provide estate planning and client counseling. Potentially handle business, commercial, and civil litigation. Requirements Approximately five or more years of legal experience preferred. Admitted to practice in New Jersey. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Experience with depositions, motion practice, and court appearances. Ability to manage matters independently and collaboratively. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications License to practice law in New Jersey. Skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong professional judgment and attention to detail.
