Maintains an advanced knowledge base and skill in the assessment and treatment of disease and management of health/illness where Clinical Specialty is a preferred treatment resource for patients. May perform specific diagnostic and/or interventional procedures under the supervision of the physician.## Minimum Requirements* Master of Science in Nursing from an Accredited School of Nursing* Maintain current licensed as a registered professional nurse in Missouri* Graduation and certification for Nurse Practitioner program; must maintain active certification* Certification in specialty as approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing for Advanced Practice may be required.* Holds current Collaborative Practice Arrangement with the organization as a provider* Current BCLS verification* Demonstrates clinical expertise in area of specialty practice* Demonstrates leadership ability* 3-5 years clinical experience* Current ACLS and must be maintained in a current/active state for continued employment when required by the department### About Us**Working at University Health is about making a difference.
