This role leads and develops the estimating function at TapeCase, delivering accurate, timely, and competitive cost estimates across OEM and general converting opportunities, with a primary focus on gasket and die-cut applications. It also manages estimating operations, pricing strategy, and margin performance, ensuring alignment between commercial objectives and manufacturing capabilities. Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a team of Technical and Senior Technical Estimators, including hiring, performance management, and capability development Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of cost estimates to ensure accuracy across materials, labor, routing, tooling, overhead, manufacturability, and margin targets Execute pricing and margin strategies that balance competitiveness, profitability, and growth across OEM and general converting work Review complex or high-value opportunities and provide direction on materials, processes, tooling, and key cost drivers Ensure integrity and accuracy of estimating data within ERP systems, including BOMs, routings, and item master data. Click Here for a summary of Employee Benefits Qualifications 5+ years of experience in estimating, quoting, engineering, or related role required 3+ years of management or people leadership experience preferred Demonstrated experience with cost modeling, pricing, and margin management preferred High School diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred, Other combinations of education and experience may be considered Proficient in Excel and estimating tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturing requirements Working knowledge of manufacturing cost structures (material yield, labor standards, machine rates, tooling) Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive process improvements Strong communication and collaboration skills across functions Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 or similar quality systems preferred Minimal travel; occasional as needed ( Equal employment opportunity, including veterans and individuals with disabilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr Ellsworth Corporation
