Account Executive (Commercial Lines)

Essential job responsibilities include but are not limited to:Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core valuesValues and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associatesMaintains overall responsibility of the entire renewal with the Producer (policy review, setting the game plan, loss analysis, program design, data completeness within AMS, coverage & premium discrepancy issues, etc.) for all existing accountsSupports in winning new business and set up of new accountsMaintains intimate knowledge of clients' business operations, strategies, and needs throughout the yearKicks-off the client renewal process by creating the Game Plan and completing a coverage analysis (if applicable) and conducting thorough reviews of the policies and all relevant documentsPrepares for and facilitates meetings with key IMA stakeholders and clientsCrafts the marketing strategies, reviews submissions, and engages in negotiations with underwriters to determine the relevant content to include in proposalsPursues mastery of the craft through on-going education and awareness of industry trends, products, and servicesDevelops & maintains carrier relationshipsManages a book of business with $900k - 2 Million in revenuePlays a lead role on three or more large/complex client accountsSpends 5-10% of time supporting producers in winning new businessRequired Experience and Skills include but are not limited to:Experience in insurance or related industry based on the assigned book of businessAbility to think strategically based on client’s priorities and marketplace cycleStrong communication skills both written and verbalExperience leading and developing peopleAbility to delegate and hold team & partners accountableExperience working within Applied Epic preferredExperience with MS Office products required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)Travel may be required when necessaryMaintains increased technical knowledge both insurance industry and book of client’s industryHolds at least one general insurance designationCompetencies & Traits:ProfessionalismSelf-DirectionManage Client RelationshipsInterpersonal skillsProblem Solving#LI-JS1Compensation & BenefitsBeing a part of IMA has its benefits.
