Business Development Specialist

Our client, a global law firm, is looking for a Business Development Specialist to support their Litigation practice group. **Open to hire in any California office (San Francisco, LA, San Diego, Silicon Valley)**

Responsibilities:

• Partner with attorneys across assigned practice groups to develop and execute strategic business development initiatives that support client growth and market positioning.

• Create, tailor, and maintain high-quality pitch materials, directory submissions, and marketing collateral, ensuring content is compelling, accurate, and aligned with target audiences and business objectives.

• Monitor market trends and new developments to identify potential client opportunities and strategic growth initiatives for partners and practice groups.

• Support the onboarding and integration of lateral partners by coordinating business development activities, facilitating market introductions, and promoting practice alignment.

• Plan, execute, and manage follow-up activities for client events, webinars, and thought leadership campaigns to enhance client engagement and strengthen market visibility.

• Contribute to additional business development, marketing, and strategic initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

•Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, with a minimum of three years of relevant experience in professional services or law firm business development.

•Candidates with at least five years of experience may be considered for a Manager level role.

•Exceptional interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills are critical to success as are

•Candidate should have strong to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and some knowledge of applications specific to the legal field.
