Responsibilities
• Conduct routine inspection and maintenance on company vehicles and follow PM schedules to avoid preventable downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Perform repairs and replacements on various vehicle components, including brakes, engines and transmissions.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on vehicles and provide updates to management.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in maintenance procedures while maintaining a clean, well-organized shop.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies to enhance repair services.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the needs of the company and ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostic methods
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and hand tools commonly used in vehicle maintenance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to report on vehicle conditions and maintenance needs
• Valid NYS Drivers License
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
