Trust Operations Specialist (Part-time)

Job Title

Provides business consulting, operational support, and strategic project coordination.

Works closely with leadership and business partners on process improvements, client service initiatives, special projects, and operational priorities that support the overall growth and effectiveness of the business. Serves as a trusted resource to the team by leveraging industry knowledge, relationship management experience, and strong organizational skills to drive key initiatives and support day-to-day business needs.

What You Will Do:

• Partner with leadership to support client relationship initiatives, business development efforts, and strategic growth objectives.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with centers of influence, including attorneys, accountants, financial advisors, and community organizations to support business development opportunities.
• Provide guidance on fiduciary products and services, including trusts, estate planning, investment management, and related wealth management solutions.
• Support the review of trust and estate documents, helping identify potential risks and ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
• Leverage knowledge of California trust and probate matters to support client servicing, trust administration activities, and special projects.
• Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to facilitate account-related requests, resolution of issues, and delivery of exceptional client service.
• Assist with oversight of trust and estate relationships by reviewing account information, monitoring client needs, and supporting ongoing relationship management activities.
• Support operational and process improvement initiatives designed to enhance efficiency, service delivery, and client experience.
• Partner with leadership on special projects, business initiatives, and departmental priorities that support the continued growth and success of the Wealth Management business.
• Maintain awareness of applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while supporting fiduciary and client service activities.
• Meet regularly with clients and professional advisors to understand evolving needs, strengthen relationships, and identify opportunities to add value.

What You Will Bring:

• Experience supporting wealth management, trust, banking, fiduciary, or financial services operations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of trust administration, fiduciary services, or wealth management operations preferred.
• Prior experience within a trust company, private wealth, or banking environment preferred.
