Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled software engineer responsible for technical execution within Product Engineering teams. This role requires implementation of product capabilities with a focus on API-driven services and event-driven architecture. You will collaborate closely with Product Management to deliver customer and product-centric capabilities while leveraging lean development practices. You’ll bring a proactive attitude about risk, working to identify and resolve performance and scalability issues. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in software development with hands-on experience in backend development with Java Spring Boot, building RESTful APIs. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Typescript, or Go. Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems. Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL). Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with modern Lean Software development, pair programming, TDD, and Trunk Based Development. Good awareness of CI and CD approaches and tools. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment. A deep customer and product focus, with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions. Responsibilities Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of services, APIs, and integrations, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance. Focus on code quality, while ensuring strategies to safely and reliably make changes to production systems frequently are followed.
