We are looking for a Freelance Technical Designer for knitsl for a well known corporate retail company. This is a hybrid freelance position and operates 3 days onsite in their NYC office. Hourly pay rate up to $40.00 based on experience. Responsibilities Executes the technical design process from development to final fit. Analyzes and evaluates garments to develop the correct fit specifications. Ensures that products are developed in a manner consistent with established fit quality, standards, manufacturer capabilities, and cost specifications. Develops technical specifications and communicates fit to vendors / factories for approvals and corrections. Makes appropriate adjustments with factories as required to ensure the integrity of design-approved prototypes while monitoring quality and targeted price. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Technical Design, or equivalent experience. 5+ years experience in technical design. Excellent problem solver. Ability to maintain composure in a stressful situation.
