AI Video Editor (Google Ads) – Ecommerce (Hybrid, Must be able to commute to Miami Downtown office 2-3 days a week)

About the Role

LDX Digital is looking for an AI Video Editor to produce high-converting 30-second video ads for our ecommerce clients' Google Ads and YouTube campaigns. This role focuses on translating creative briefs into scroll-stopping, direct-response video content using AI tools, working closely with our paid media and creative teams to support campaigns across Search, YouTube, Performance Max, and Display. The ideal candidate is fluent in AI video generation and editing tools, has hands-on experience with ecommerce brands and ad creative, and can turn around high-quality assets quickly and independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Execution

- Read and interpret creative briefs to produce 30-second AI-generated video ads

- Build video content optimized for Google Ads and YouTube placements

- Apply direct-response best practices to maximize watch time, engagement, and conversions

- Ensure all assets meet platform policies and specs across Search, YouTube, Performance Max, and Display

AI Tool Proficiency

- Leverage AI video generation and editing tools to produce polished, on-brand content efficiently

- Stay current on new AI video tools and techniques to keep output competitive

- Troubleshoot and problem-solve within AI workflows to hit brief requirements

Creative Testing & Iteration

- Produce creative variations and iterations based on performance feedback

- Rotate formats, messaging, and hooks to prevent creative fatigue

- Collaborate with strategists on winning concepts and angles based on data

Team Collaboration & Execution

- Work closely with paid media strategists to align creative with campaign goals

- Maintain clear communication and task management within ClickUp

- Take ownership of assigned deliverables and turnaround timelines Qualifications

- Proven experience creating AI-generated video content

- Experience working with ecommerce brands and performance-driven ad creative

- Strong understanding of direct-response marketing principles

- A full portfolio demonstrating relevant AI video work is required

- Ability to complete a paid test assignment as part of the interview process

- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines

- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment

Compensation

Based on experience and paid test assignment performance
