Clinical Supervisor

Clinical Supervisor (Glendale Adult Services) Hybrid position requires 2-3 days a week onsite. Candidates may elect a 9/80 flex schedule. Pay range: $77,583 - $89,220 annually. $20,000 sign‑on bonus for external candidates. Ask about loan repayment programs you may qualify for by working at Didi Hirsch. Position Summary As a Clinical Supervisor (internally referred to as Lead Clinical Supervisor), you will manage the clinical integrity of the program and provide clinical supervision to both unlicensed and licensed therapists along with case management staff. Primary Duties Designated as the clinical lead, oversee clinical efficiency and fidelity to evidence‑based practice models; provide case assignment and track client progress. Provide clinical and administrative supervision weekly for up to 8 employees. Guide staff and interns in the development of their work plans, duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority; consult with staff on client‑related problems. Ensure client documentation is accurate and submitted within the established timeframe. Develop and implement clinical trainings and support of evidence‑based practice at the site. Perform managerial duties including assigning and reviewing progress, conducting performance appraisals, and developing higher levels of expertise in staff by encouraging further education and learning opportunities. Identify staff training needs and ensure development and implementation of programs that address needs; participate in delivering training sessions related to clinical/program needs. Partner with Outcomes Assistants to ensure client outcomes are completed as required. Monitor and measure client progress against treatment plans and stated goals as it applies to mental health documentation. Work closely with QA to support documentation compliance and lead all clinical documentation internal audits. Monitor the flow of cases on supervisees' case loads to ensure a balanced approach to intakes and discharges. Form a highly effective clinical team to accomplish the program's short and long‑term goals. Attend, participate in, lead, and/or facilitate routinely scheduled meetings as requested for the program, division, or agency. May participate as lead clinician in 5150 client holds. Interface with related community agencies and attend Department of Mental Health meetings as scheduled or needed. Position Requirements Current California License as a clinician (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PsyD, PhD) and at least 2 years post‑licensure. Minimum of 4+ years of experience working with individuals with a history of mental illness in a social service or mental health environment. Demonstrated knowledge of Evidence-Based Practices and/or the Recovery Model of treatment. Minimum of 2 years experience providing clinical supervision and monitoring performance within a mental health setting. Completed supervision course that meets BBS or BOP standards. LPS designated by the county. Demonstrated effective leadership and management skills; experienced in leading multidisciplinary teams. Manage employee performance consistent with defined Didi Hirsch processes. Working knowledge of mental health services coordination and management. Knowledge of agency policies and procedures, HIPAA, DMH, DHCS, Department of Social Services, and other state and federal regulations relating to mental health services. Current knowledge to coordinate treatment planning and case management for assigned clients. Ability to present ideas, information, and viewpoints clearly, both verbally and in writing. Personal computer skills including word processing, electronic health record, spreadsheets, and other related software. Ability to utilize analysis, experience, and judgment to make decisions. Commitment to team objectives and Didi Hirsch philosophies. Ability to adapt to changing needs by acquiring new skills and knowledge. Availability and willingness to work some evenings. Current CA license and a driving record acceptable to the agency's insurance carrier.
