Product Owner - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Product Owner - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX. This is a 12 month contract position.

This role will act as the Product Owner for Trade Finance applications, working within an established Agile team. The candidate will be responsible for the definition and management of requirements, working closely with Product Managers and other business partners to define strategies for technical solutions. They will serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and the technical teams to ensure customer needs are met.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the Product Owner for the Trade Finance applications and to work within the existing Agile team structure and methodology
• Responsible for definition and management of the requirements for Initiative and BAU work within an Agile framework
• Work closely with the Product Manager(s) and other business partners to define strategies for technical solutions, identify and document requirements, and continually prioritize the team's backlog to meet tight deadlines
• Work closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements and functional design/solutions are translated accurately into technical solutions, test plans and scripts that serve customer needs
• Collaborate with multiple teams to drive to common understanding of functionality and requirements, to maintain focus on the delivery, and ensure meeting the business goals
• Serve as the Product Owner for the application functional area and liaison between business partners and the technical teams

Requirements:

• Reliable Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance knowledge and experience
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, communication skills, and business acumen
• Strong experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent role in working with product partners and application development teams
• Sound Agile and Jira experience
• Proven ability to translate business plans/policies into specific goals, tactics, requirements and actionable plans
• Ability to lead an Agile team as needed
• Established ability to meet aggressive deadlines while managing multiple responsibilities and competing priorities
• Able to think on the spot and maintain integrity and composure under pressure
• Experience as a Product Owner or equivalent role

Desired skills:

• Product Owner/Product Management SAFe Agile Certifications
• Seasoned Trade Finance and Supply Chain knowledge and experience

Pay range: $49.46 - $57.46 per hour
