Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Mixed Skilled PCU Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days EOW Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS Must-Have: BSN not required Description: This position involves caring for both Medical/Surgical and PCU status patients. If assigned to a PCU group, the staffing ratio is 1:4. For a Medical/Surgical group, the staffing ratio is 1:5. Floating to Telemetry and Medical/Surgical units is expected. There is a cancellation policy in place that allows for a two-week notice. Staff may be called off up to 48 hours in advance during the 13-week period. The charting system used in this position is EPIC. This role requires certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
