Join Our Team as a Line Cook! Are you passionate about creating delicious dishes and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment? B & J Group is seeking a talented Line Cook to join our culinary team in Garwood, NJ. As a Line Cook at our company, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills, learn new techniques, and be a part of a dynamic team that values creativity and innovation in the kitchen. Daily Responsibilities: Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Create visually appealing plate presentations Execute various cooking techniques such as pasta, sautéing, broiling, and seafood preparation Utilize scratch cooking methods to ensure fresh and flavorful dishes Work efficiently on the line to meet service demands Required Skills: Menu execution Plate presentation techniques Proficiency in various cooking methods Knife skills and food quality control Degree in Culinary Arts or related field Nice to Have Skills: Experience in dessert, soup, sauce, pastry, and salad preparation Knowledge of a la carte cooking and portion control Previous experience in busy kitchens Salary and Benefits: Minimum Salary: $40,000.00 Maximum Salary: $50,000.00 Company Information: Butter & Jam is a bar and restaurant in Madison, NJ, specializing in breakfast, lunch, and brunch, with specialty coffee drinks, catering services, and private event hosting.
