Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical assessments and in-depth medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical issues through interpreting diagnostic imaging and lab results
• Partner with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance, which includes preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and assisting with surgical instruments
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference for candidates with surgical-focused clinical rotations

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification is mandatory
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills

• Strong grounding in surgical techniques and sterile procedures
