Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Identifying, picking, and returning of powder boxes correctly according to work schedule.

· Electrostatic powder coating of products of varying sizes and material in a spray booth.

· Ability to spray powder to the correct thickness range as specified by the engineering department.

· Powder coater is responsible for the cleaning of the spray gun and paint booth used that day.

· Quality control review of unloading parts off the production line and identify defects within drying stage.

· Ensure precise chemistry balance of the wash cycle process.

· Set up and take down of materials to be sprayed.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Ability to effectively and efficiently communicate information and respond to questions from shop lead, supervisor, and other departments.

· Excellent hand/eye coordination.

· Must be able to multi-task.

· Ability to understand engineering design drawings.

· Must be able to work independently and efficiently.

· Self-motivated and detail oriented.

· Excel in a fast-paced work environment.

Required Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma or GED

· Two (2) or more years manufacturing paint and/or powder coating experience.

 

Physical Requirements:

· Lift/carry up to 50 lbs. for short distances.

· Stand for long periods of time.

· Adhere to all PPE requirements.
