Assistant Store Manager

Compensation Pay Range: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour (actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location). Annual and quarterly performance premiums may be paid in amounts per hour in specific circumstances, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, ensuring team member execution of customer service programs such as related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc. Assist the store manager in staffing the retail sales counter, especially during peak retail business hours (lunch, late‑afternoons, evenings, weekends). Assist in setting team member goals, providing feedback, coaching and mentoring to ensure goal achievement. Participate in the hiring process: completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and conducting interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management to select qualified team members. Ensure the telephone is answered in accordance with company policy. Process buy‑online/ship‑to‑store, hub‑to‑store transfers, and DC add orders timely and notify customers upon shipment arrival. Use electronic outside purchase order ledger to handle special and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure. Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and friendly, issue refunds accurately using correct payment methods, and stage returned merchandise in the returns area. Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store. Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned. Ensure team members comply with company policies, adhere to posted work schedules, and clock in/out correctly. Perform all store opening and closing duties, including day‑end procedures, verifying and securing money/deposits, preparing bank deposits, securing security equipment, and checking delivery vehicles. Assist the store manager in maintaining the store building, parking lot, exterior signage and lighting, computer hardware, in‑store service/test equipment, and delivery vehicles. All other duties as assigned. Provide bilingual customer support; Spanish fluency is highly desired. Skills, Education, Knowledge, and Experience Required : Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, RSS Certification. Desired : Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification. Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is highly desired.
