Accountant

As an Investments team member, you’ll play a key role in the innovative investment strategies that enable our company and our financial products to serve our customers and their families when they need us most – now and in the future. What you will be doing Support accurate U.S. GAAP and U.S. Statutory accounting and reporting for the organization’s Alternative Assets investment portfolio, supporting large scale projects, developing and maintaining robust internal controls framework Evaluate system outputs to ensure appropriate accounting treatment for our alternative assets portfolio Research and review of accounting guidance to assess existing processes – identifying potential efficiencies and/or gaps in current business processes Perform assigned accounting responsibilities, including account reconciliations, transaction reviews, loan pricing analysis, real estate owned accounting, and journal entry and financial reporting preparation. Partner with the Finance Teams across all product lines and assist in the development and execution of Investment strategies Collaborate cross-functionally to create efficiencies and deliver superior business results Support accounting policy implementation and strategic business process redesign efforts Help maintain SOX controls documentation and evaluate deficiency risks through on-going review and validation of key operational processes Perform other duties as assigned What you bring Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related discipline CPA is preferred 2-5 years of U.S. GAAP and/or U.S. Statutory accounting and reporting experience Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
