Roe Law Group, PLLC, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our talented team. The role involves collaborating with clients and other team members to deliver high-quality legal solutions. The Associate will contribute to both counseling and litigation services to meet client needs efficiently and effectively. You must be dedicated to high-quality work, have a strong academic background with exceptional writing skills, and the ability to think on your feet. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a law firm setting, in-house legal department, or a judicial clerkship is required. 

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $120,000. As a candidate for this position, your salary and related aspects of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skills, and any other factors RLG considers relevant to the hiring decision. $85,000 - $120,000 yearly

• Drafting and reviewing handbooks, policies, and employment agreements
• Advising clients on wage and hour compliance, leave laws, employee performance issues, and terminations
• Conducting legal research and preparing summaries of employment statutes, regulations, and case law
• Drafting and responding to pleadings, motions, discovery requests, subpoenas, and settlement agreements in state and federal court proceedings
• Responding to charges and other requests filed in EEOC, MDHR, and NLRB

• Strong foundation in legal research, analysis, and writing
• Excellent oral advocacy, negotiation, and client communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree, and am currently licensed to practice law in the State of Minnesota
• Commitment to maintaining professionalism, inclusivity, and collaborative work approaches
• Interest or experience in developing and fostering long-term client relationships
• Prior litigation or trial experience is a plus
