Commercial P&C Leader/Producer

Monocacy Financial Group is looking for an entrepreneurial Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance Producer / Practice Leader to help build, grow, and lead our commercial insurance agency.

This is not a typical producer role. Monocacy is building an integrated advisory platform across CPA, Wealth Management, and Insurance, designed to help business owners and families coordinate tax, accounting, wealth, risk management, and insurance decisions through one trusted advisory relationship.

The right candidate will be a commercial insurance professional who wants to produce business, serve business-owner clients, build repeatable systems, lead people, and potentially grow into future leadership or equity participation.

The Opportunity

Monocacy already serves business owners, professionals, families, and closely held companies through its CPA and Wealth businesses. We are looking for a strong commercial insurance leader who can help turn those trusted relationships into a disciplined, consultative commercial P&C growth engine.

This role combines three responsibilities:

1. Producing new commercial P&C business.

2. Converting warm internal CPA and Wealth referrals into well-served insurance relationships.

3. Helping build the operating model for a scalable commercial insurance practice.

What You Will Do

· Produce new commercial P&C business through outside networking, centers of influence, referral relationships, and direct prospecting.

· Work with CPA and Wealth advisors to identify business-owner clients who need insurance reviews, risk management support, or improved coverage.

· Lead commercial coverage reviews for general liability, commercial property, BOP, workers' compensation, commercial auto, umbrella, cyber, EPLI, professional liability, contractor risk, real estate risk, and related lines.

· Build and manage a commercial pipeline, including discovery meetings, policy reviews, submissions, proposals, follow-up, binding, onboarding, and renewal planning.

· Develop carrier, wholesaler, and market relationships.

· Help define the agency's quoting path, service workflows, renewal process, documentation standards, and producer-review process.

· Use HawkSoft and related systems consistently for client records, policy data, activities, documentation, and renewal tracking.

· Collaborate with internal operations staff to create scalable workflows for certificates, endorsements, claims support, loss runs, renewals, submissions, billing, and client communication.

· Help ensure that client handoffs from CPA, Wealth, and Insurance are handled professionally, ethically, and with appropriate client consent. xhyhwjd
