Key Qualifications:

• Active California SLP license (SLP-CCC or CFY applicants welcome)
• Experience or strong interest in school-based or pediatric speech-language pathology
• Familiarity with typical SLP duties: assessment, intervention, documentation, and participation in IEP process
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Ability to travel between school sites within the district
• Background in SLP healthcare settings, pediatric caseloads, or school environments is highly valued

Role Expectations:

• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language pathology services to students with diverse needs
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain compliance with district protocols
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress
• Document student performance and therapy notes accurately and in a timely fashion
• Engage in scheduled team meetings and paid administrative time as part of workload
• Adapt therapy sessions and materials to accommodate various learning environments across multiple schools
• Training on district IEP systems and administrative support provided
