We are looking for a personable and driven Customer Service/Sales Representative to join a team in Chicago, Illinois in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, managing service-related administrative tasks, and building strong relationships through clear communication. The position blends customer support, billing assistance, claims support, and sales-oriented service while offering the opportunity to grow through hands-on training and ongoing coaching.

Responsibilities:

• Provide responsive support to customers by handling inbound and outbound communication, resolving questions, and guiding them toward appropriate solutions.

• Enter and maintain accurate customer information, update records, and complete order or service-related documentation with attention to detail.

• Assist with billing activities, payment processing, and policy-related updates to ensure accounts remain current and accurate.

• Support claim-related inquiries by gathering information, explaining next steps, and helping customers navigate the process efficiently.

• Follow up on customer quotes, requests, and open items within established timelines, using reminders and organized tracking methods to maintain service quality.

• Participate in scheduled training and coaching sessions to strengthen product knowledge, communication skills, and service effectiveness.

• Monitor personal activity and performance goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, and take action to improve results.

• Build lasting customer relationships by identifying service opportunities, encouraging retention, and contributing to a positive client experience.

• Represent the business professionally in customer and community interactions to support brand visibility and local engagement.

• Previous experience in customer service, call center support, or a similar client-facing environment.
• Ability to manage inbound and outbound calls professionally while providing accurate and timely assistance.
• Strong data entry and order processing skills with a high level of accuracy and organization.
• Comfortable handling billing questions, payment support, and general account updates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Sales-minded approach with the confidence to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Ability to stay organized, meet deadlines, and adapt to ongoing training and performance expectations.
