Location: Pasadena, TX 77507
Pay: $16.50–$17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Must be available to work overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed.

Job Description

TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking an experienced Warehouse/Forklift Operator for a busy distribution facility in Pasadena. This is not an entry-level forklift position. Applicants must already have experience operating warehouse forklift equipment safely and independently.

Operators may be assigned to a sit-down forklift, stand-up reach truck, or sit-down forklift with a clamp attachment based on their verified experience. Applicants do not need experience with every type of equipment, but they must be experienced with at least one.

All applicants must successfully complete a hands-on operating test on the forklift equipment they claim experience using. Training on basic forklift operation will not be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift, stand-up reach truck, or sit-down forklift with a clamp attachment.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and shipping containers.
• Move, stage, stack, and organize products throughout the warehouse.
• Place products in and retrieve products from warehouse racks.
• Use forklift attachments safely when handling large or specialized products.
• Inspect products for visible damage before moving or storing them.
• Verify product quantities, labels, and warehouse locations.
• Follow work orders and instructions provided by warehouse supervisors.
• Maintain accurate product placement and organized staging areas.
• Complete daily forklift inspections before operating equipment.
• Report damaged products, unsafe conditions, and equipment problems.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when not operating a forklift.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company and warehouse safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse or distribution experience.
• Recent experience operating at least one of the following:
• • Sit-down forklift
  • Stand-up reach truck
  • Sit-down forklift with a clamp attachment
  • Sit-down forklift with a paper-roll-clamp attachment
• Must successfully complete a hands-on forklift operating test.
• Must be able to operate the selected equipment safely without basic operator training.
• Experience loading, unloading, staging, stacking, and moving warehouse products.
• Ability to safely maneuver equipment in warehouse aisles and around other employees.
• Strong attention to safety, product placement, and inventory accuracy.
• Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions.
• Ability to perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
• Reliable transportation to the Pasadena area.
• Availability to work overtime and occasional Saturdays as required.
